Once a thriving village hub, Bodorgan Inn is almost two centuries old; situated directly opposite the railway station and set within a scenic acre of mature gardens and grounds.

These days, you’ll find the charming, pet-friendly inn perfectly converted for celebrations of every description, sleeping up to 24 guests in convivial comfort.

Not only will you have your pick of 10 elegant bedrooms, but you’ll also have the run of the entire, design-led inn – which includes a games room, a barbecue patio with hot tub, and a swish bar-room with a Bluetooth sound system and working beer pumps!

The enormous kitchen is ideal for whipping up all manner of hearty pub meals, served in the sociable dining room with its wooden flooring, muted colour palette, and comfortable chairs. Once you’re nicely refuelled, head straight into that bar-room for a welcome round of digestifs around the log-burner… bliss!

If you’d rather chat to the designated bartender simply grab a stool, or curl up on a cosy window-bench seat with a good book. In a competitive mood? Challenge your loved ones to a game of darts or a round of pool in the games room, or unwind in front of the huge Smart TVs – each one complete with Sky Sports, BT, Disney, and Netflix.

(Oh, and in case you’re wondering about entertaining the little ones in your group, don’t worry. Just across the lobby is a dedicated toddlers’ play area, gainfully furnished with soft play and games just for them).

You’ll find the large lawned area equipped with a supply of outdoor games, and there’s plenty of al fresco seating for everybody to bask in the Anglesey sunshine. Fire up the barbecue as the sun starts to set, or leave the cooking to someone else as you relax in the bubbling hot tub!

When it’s finally time to turn in, you’ll find seven bedrooms on the second floor: part of an impeccably stylish communal space with a glistening feature chandelier. Two rooms boast their own en-suites, while two more family bathrooms mean there’ll be no cross-legged queues during your stay.

But if you really want a room with a view then head straight up to the attic, where you’ll discover three more bedrooms, a family bathroom, a study (ideal for guests who like a little more privacy) and a communal lounge to catch up in.

After a delicious home-cooked breakfast, why not venture out and explore the local area? You’re just three miles away from the nearest beach, and four from the village of Malltraeth, where you can retrace the steps of the renowned wildlife illustrator Charles Tunnicliffe at the mesmerising Malltraeth Sands.

Things to note

The bar can be stocked with pre-ordered drinks on request. Well-behaved pets are permitted to stay at an extra cost. Cots, highchairs and assorted baby equipment can be provided on request, subject to availability. The bedrooms can be configured with additional sofa beds as needed. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the inn.
