Crafted from natural and upcycled materials, an Earthship is an simple, off-grid retreat that’s powered by Mother Nature… so you can experience sustainable living to its fullest.

Set within 20 acres of unspoilt, mountainous land within Montana’s Yellowstone Park ecosystem, Big Sky Earthship couldn’t be better placed for a retreat into the awe-inspiring beauty of nature.

Better still, the Earthship’s design is so stylish and well thought out, that you won’t have to compromise on any creature comforts during your stay.

Not only will you have a wood-fired sauna to relax in, after a long day of hiking the private mountain trail that surrounds you, but there’s also a cocktail bar in the greenhouse atrium that’s perfect for sundowners and stargazing (oh, and feel free to pick as many ripe plants as you can eat!)

Sleeping 2-4 guests, the Earthship is visually jaw-dropping, with huge windows that are beautifully positioned to catch the sun as it travels across the sky. Cleverly regulating its own temperature, you’ll feel perfectly warm and cosy by day and night, though there’s a crackling wood stove to help chillier evenings along.

The cosy, laid-back living area features all the amenities you’d expect from a holiday home, including a Smart TV, a Sonos sound system, and superfast Wi-Fi, and there’s a well-equipped kitchen complete with an oven, range cooker and a washer/dryer.

Discover a gorgeous kingsize bed to curl up in at the end of the day – 2 additional guests can be accommodated in a downy queen bed set up in the lounge by request – though be warned: after an evening of epic stargazing from the patio, you may feel reluctant to close your eyes at all!
