Bickington Chapel is perfectly secluded in the heart of Devon, on the eastern edge of the Dartmoor National Park and within easy reach of iconic beaches that include Saunton Sands, Woolacombe, and Westward Ho!

Up to six guests (and two well-behaved dogs) are welcome at the Grade II-listed retreat, with plenty of light-filled, high-ceilinged space for everyone to relax and unwind in.

The open-plan living area is a joy to spend some sociable time in, with original chapel features blending beautifully with the contemporary design… so at mealtimes you’ll get to choose whether you want to sit on a dining chair or a former church pew!

A bespoke staircase leads to the games snug, furnished with books, bean bags, and a fun selection of games, while further stairs lead to the striking en-suite master bedroom, with a superking bed and soft roof lighting. There are two more bedrooms on the ground floor: both with versatile zip-and-link beds that can be superking or twin on request.

Favourite bedroom claimed, take your favourite tipple out to the private west-facing garden, where you’ll find plenty of comfy furniture for everyone. There’s even an outdoor fireplace, so you can carry on chatting long after the stars have appeared.
