Bandido Bali is the brainchild of Javi Díaz and his group of friends, who travelled from their native Spain to Bali on regular surfing trips.

After falling in love with the island (and residents) of Uluwatu, they teamed up with skilled local craftspeople to create a luxurious and imaginative collection of villas they themselves would choose to stay in… and the rest is history.

(Fact: “Bandido” is Spanish for “bandit” – a playful nod to the cheeky monkeys who rule the cliffs of Uluwatu!).

Circled around a refreshing swimming pool, each of the five villas boasts its very own charm and personality. Delicately crafted from a unique combination of bamboo, recycled wood, and local stone, jaw-dropping architectural flourishes blend Mediterranean style with Balinese beauty.

What to do after you’ve settled in? Take a dip in that shimmering pool and chat lazy afternoons away with new friends, cocktail in hand, or (if you can bear to leave!) go out and get under the skin of the local area.

A surfer’s paradise, Bingin Beach is a five-minute wander away, while the complex is surrounded by some of Bali’s best shops and restaurants, in a warmly welcoming stay that promises to live long in your memory.
