Balance Treehouse is a unique and beautiful blend of rustic craftsmanship with modern convenience; elevated over the craggy, heather-covered hills that characterise Northern Ireland’s Ring of Gullion AONB.

The treehouse-for-two is accessed by a private rope bridge, and once you’re across, you’ll feel like it’s just you and your loved one in a magical world of your own. Gaze out at those hills, taking in the leafy countryside, stone-ditched fields and narrow, winding roads, completely at your leisure.

Given these perfect natureful surroundings, you could be forgiven for thinking amenities would be an afterthought… but here you’d be wrong! Facilities are controlled by voice command, so you needn’t lift so much as a finger, and there are plenty of sumptuous treats to discover.

Relax in your al fresco hot tub as the sun sinks over the trees (perhaps with a refreshing outdoor shower afterwards?), or curl up with a good book in the hammock. Back inside, there’s a TV to snuggle up to, a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom… and a superking bed with a glass roof for stargazing.

If you can bear to re-enter ‘normal’ civilisation, there are pubs and restaurants within just a few miles, along with historic must-visits such as the Proleek Dolmen: one of Ireland’s best-known megalithic tombs.
