Ever fancied transporting yourself back in time?

You’ll feel as though you’ve stepped straight into a more peaceful age with a stay in this authentic Dutch windmill, originally built in 1874 and still fully operational.

Sleeping up to six guests, the windmill has an immediately cosy feel, with a warming fireplace in the living area, and huge wooden beams that hark back to years past (though there’s a TV and WiFi to keep you in touch with modern life, should you feel the need!)

By day, why not hire some bikes and indulge in the country’s favourite pastime?  There are endless green fields to walk through, too, dotted with grazing sheep and cows, and a languorous river to dip your toes in.  

Meanwhile, a mere 15-minute drive will take you into the heart of Amsterdam.  What more could any self-respecting time-traveller possibly ask for?
