A traditional-meets-modern Brecon Beacons pub for memorable, dog-friendly group stays in the heart of Welsh nature, a short walk away from the spectacular Henrhyd Falls.
  • Sleeps: 19
  • Bedrooms: 4
  • Bathrooms: 4
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Alderfalls is the perfect base from which to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park, as well as the Gower Peninsula and the sweeping Pembrokeshire coast.

It’s just… once you’ve checked into this exclusive country pub, you may feel inclined to do no more than grab yourself a drink, then kick back with your favourite people in the most glorious of surroundings.

Up to 19 guests (and up to two dogs) can be accommodated in the characterful, century-old pub, which has been lovingly renovated and styled by the owner herself. You’ll marvel at the exquisite attention to detail in every room, with warm décor, soft lighting, natural textures, and lush foliage all designed to create an immediate sense of home (only better!).

There’s plenty of sublime space for socialising, too, with a private bar and lounge areas – just bring your favourite tipples – and leather sofas set by a roaring fire to keep everyone warm and cosy on cooler evenings. Challenge your loved ones to a round of pool, table football or darts to keep those competitive spirits nicely charged!

In the mood for a celebratory banquet? The large, catering-style kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to whip up simple dishes and elaborate feasts alike, and there are dedicated dining spaces to break bread around all together.

When sleep finally calls, there are four elegant bedrooms to choose from. You’ll find each one configured for family-friendliness or giggly ‘sleepovers’… whichever best suits your group. Two rooms each feature a double bed, a sofa bed and bunks, while a third room boasts a kingsize bed and a single. Last but not least, the fourth room is home to a double and bunk beds.

Better still, not one, not two, but four bathrooms mean everyone can freshen up at their own leisure… with no worries about cross-legged queues as morning rolls around.
