Crafted with generous helpings of care and creativity, a stay at Albion Nights promises to banish the lingering stress of everyday life.
The two hand-built retreats you’ll discover here have each been creatively crafted from reclaimed and recycled materials wherever possible. Better still, you’ll find both perfectly nestled in an enchanting, six-acre wildflower meadow in the Waveney Valley, with the East Anglian coast in easy reach.
The original much-loved and award-winning cabin is now joined by a second: as seen on the popular Channel Four show, George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces. Whichever you choose, you can expect to be greeted by plenty of rustic comfort, thoughtful attention to detail, and the kind of cosy charm that compels you to breathe out and relax.
Each cabin also boasts its very own outdoor bath, for dreamy bubble-soaks under the stars (the original cabin’s bathtub was personally designed and installed by Sarah Moore, a popular TV presenter and former winner of the BBC’s Great Interior Design Challenge). Surrounded by soft-glowing candles, you can sink into warm, indulgent bubbles and feel your cares drift away as if by magic.
You’ll also get to choose how best to unwind and reconnect with your loved one: whether lighting the wood-burning stove and snuggling up inside, or telling stories and toasting marshmallows around the firepit – blankets and sheepskins included! – all against a mesmerising backdrop of ever-changing nature.
Private cabin facilities include a charming kitchenette, complete with hob and fridge, to take care of relaxed mealtimes – though you also have the option of pre-ordering tasty meals to be delivered directly to you instead. When it’s finally time to say goodbye to the day, you can simply wander along to the cosy bedroom, where you’ll discover a bespoke, natural linen-dressed double bed that’s perfect for lazy lie-ins.
Oh, and if you thought going off-grid meant compromising on a luxurious bathroom, think again. Your chosen cabin’s private en-suite is furnished with a piping hot shower, eco-toiletries, and a state-of-the-art composting loo.
