Wrinklers Wood Glamping
England / St Agnes, Cornwall
Full description
A back-to-nature retreat with luxury safari tents, treetop havens, wellness activities and al fresco hot tubs, secluded off the beaten Cornish track with the spectacular coast in easy reach.
Combining luxury glamping accommodation with wellness in nature, Wrinklers Wood Glamping is the perfect retreat for couples and groups of friends looking for a fresh Cornish escape.
Although you'll be conveniently located just a few miles from the pretty town of St. Agnes, with some of North Cornwall's finest beaches in easy reach, there'll be none of the noisy tourist bustle to contend with.
Simply pop open a bottle of bubbles, and relax from the scenic, tranquil comfort of your chosen haven... whether that's a luxury treehouse, a gorgeous treetop glamping cabin, or a furnished safari tent with its very own wood-fired hot tub.
Clad in rustic wood inside and out, the two treehouses, named Chui and Simba, are rich in grown-up indulgence. An enormous skylight means you can stargaze from your downy kingsize bed, and there are generous, self-contained kitchen facilities.
Meanwhile, the shower opens out onto the deck, with views of the ancient oak wood and tropical gardens, or you can greet the sunset in the wood-fired hot tub, instead.
A true romantic hideaway, the treetop cabin is secluded amongst wildlife, with wrap-around decking that means you can watch the sun rise and set over the gardens and shimmering brook.
Inside awaits a self-contained sanctuary with a TV to snuggle up in front of when the day is finally done.
Last but by no means least, the two pet-friendly safari tents (named Twiga and Tembo... or giraffe and elephant in Swahili) are styled with eclectic African décor for an exotic feel, and with a large wood-burner to keep you toasty, you won't have to wait for summer to book your break!
Again, you'll also have full self-contained facilities, including a bespoke kitchen and an en-suite bathroom, and of course, that wood-fired hot tub to relax in after a day of exploring the area.
Not that you may feel like straying too far, especially when there are treats including yoga, massage, and holistic beauty treatments available right on site!
If you really must leave, there are plenty of pubs nearby, including one in just 30 minutes' walking distance. You could also hire a bike from the site and whizz your way along the Coast to Coast Trail... the friendly owners will even arrange for your bikes to be dropped off at the start of the trail, then pick you up on your return.
Blazing your own trail? Head for one of many amazing beaches - Crantock and Godrevy are local favourites - or take in some of Cornwall's finest attractions, including the Eden Project, just under an hour away by car.
Things to note
Pets are permitted in the safari tents only.
