Secluded on a scenic working farm near Drumblade, in rural Aberdeenshire, Boutique Farm Bothies is home to a soothing selection of lovingly handcrafted, eco-friendly boltholes.  These unique bothies cater for a range of group sizes, with spaces accommodating two to four guests, as well as Denend Farmhouse which is a striking holiday home and great option for groups of up to eight guests.

The newest addition on the site is the spectacular The Dairy at Denend, a luxurious bothy that’s been quirkily converted from a Hosier milking bail, and it was even selected to appear on the popular Channel 4 programme ‘The World’s Most Secret Hotels’ – high accolade indeed for what is a hidden gem in the Scottish countryside!

Sleeping up to four guests in two bedrooms (one bunk bedroom for the children), the dog-and-child-friendly bothy features plenty of whimsical nods to life on a dairy farm, while a gleaming copper bath, a hand-painted sink, and an indulgently dressed, window-facing kingsize bed provide welcome flourishes of luxury.

Not that you’ll want to stay inside the whole time… with a bespoke crafted wood-fired hot tub, and a gorgeous al fresco cooking station waiting outside the bothy’s huge glass doors, you can relax and enjoy that magnificent scenery up close.
