The Boathouse London
Launched - literally - in partnership with the famed interior design brand MADE.COM, you can expect some serious attention to style from Boathouse London.
Moored on West London's Floating Pocket Park, Boathouse London is a 60ft wide beam barge, transformed into a one-bedroom boutique hotel and event space. She boasts an open space filled with contemporary art, hand-picked designer furnishings, and minimalist Scandi-style décor that's begging to be Instagrammed immediately.
Stylishly versatile to the last, the lounge can even convert to a second bedroom if needed. Sleeping arrangements taken care of, you can relax amongst stylish home comforts that include a woodburner and a gorgeous bathtub with rainfall shower, along with a designer kitchen and plenty of windows that look straight out onto Floating Pocket Park - a flourishing green 21st century oasis in the city.
Better still, the roof is perfect for relaxing, dining and entertaining on sunny afternoons. Here you'll find a wealth of comfy seating to sit and watch the city go by, as you admire the designer flower beds and wildlife island found in the floating park itself.
As if all this wasn't enough, there are plenty of added delights on offer here. For starters, you'll be treated to a complimentary Daylesford hamper, packed with goodies including fresh bread and homemade jams. Two bicycles and a rowing boat are also provided, free for you to take off and explore London to your hearts' content.
If you're celebrating something special (well, the holiday life is special!) then why not arrange a champagne reception, or book a captain to glide you and your Boathouse along Regent's Canal? If you're in need of some extra pampering, a private chef and a yoga teacher are on hand to ensure you can dine and unwind in the best possible ways.
Indulge as much as you like, and when you're taking time off from being wined, dined and spoiled, you can spend some luxurious downtime in the hub of the floating park, created by renowned garden designer Tony Woods. Constructed from a series of interlocking pontoons made with recycled materials, you'll find full Wi-Fi access, plenty of gorgeous greenery, and a quirky, ever-changing events schedule that includes the occasional pop-up cocktail bar and a programme of fitness events.
If you've always fancied life on the tranquil water, but you weren't quite ready to brave all those tricky locks in the dark, now's your time to try it out. A stay at Boathouse London is not only completely unique and totally indulgent, but guaranteed to be memorable for all the right reasons.
