Melin Y Bont – Welsh for The Bridge Mill – is a relaxing, family-and-dog-friendly retreat on the Anglesey Coastal Path, a mere stone’s throw from the nostalgic sandy beaches and lively cafes to be found at Rhosneigr.

You’ll find this Grade II listed, four-storey windmill a haven of comfort, with plenty of historic touches to remind you of its former life as a 19th century working mill – the workings are all in place in the basement to see. These days, contemporary luxuries blend perfectly with stone walls, thick rustic floorboards and traditional beamed ceilings.

The sociable open-plan living space, furnished with pastel sofas, is the ideal catch-up setting, along with a hand-made curved kitchen that make preparing hearty meals an absolute breeze!  Spend lazy mornings over coffee and breakfast on the decking outside, with views that lead your gaze over fresh farmland and out to sea.

Head up the finely-crafted wooden staircase to two snug bedrooms on the second and third floors, complete with two indulgent bathrooms.  But it’s the fourth-storey lookout you’ll want to claim as your own…a luxuriously beamed loft room complete with double bed and spectacular views.
