The PurePod way of life involves an individually secluded, completely off-grid glass cabin especially located to provide the most outstanding views – the perfect setting for you to immerse yourselves in the idyllic natural scenery this beautiful part of the world has to offer.

Your PurePod comes equipped with a kitchen, LED lighting, a flushing toilet, bio-fuel heating and a piping hot water shower.  With everything taken care of, all that’s left to do is relax!

Following a fifteen minute Kanuka tree-lined walk along a refreshing farm track, you’ll find the Kahutara PurePod perched high above the Kahutara River, looking across to the majestic Seaward Kaikoura Mountain Range.  

Trust us, these are views that really must be experienced at least once in an everyday lifetime, peppered with soothing sounds of the river and friendly visits from the native South Island Robin.

Everything you need has been lovingly provided, from comfy deck chairs, a barbecue and gas hob, to crisp linen, local reference books and a telescope for you to enjoy that exceptional night sky in all its starry magnificence.
