Naturally secluded woodland retreats, steeped in an intoxicating blend of fun, excitement, adventure and romance on the picturesque north coast of the Isle of Wight.
  • Sleeps: up to 6 per unit
  • Bedrooms: 2 -3 per unit
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of…a cosy, contemporary Shepherd’s Hideaway and the enthralling Roost Treehouse, both perfectly tucked away on the north coast of the Isle of Wight and well hidden from each-other by plenty of natural foliage.

Along with carefully hand crafted wood, stone and slate construction, versatility is built into the heart of this charming accommodation, which adventurous families and groups will enjoy just as much as couples seeking a romantic country hideaway.

Both sleeping up to six guests, the Shepherd’s Hideaway and the Roost Treehouse are firmly focused on privacy and comfort, with cosy well-chosen furnishings and a naturally peaceful woodland setting that’s ripe for creating your very own adventure stories, delightfully filled with birds, rabbits, squirrels and friendly farm animals to keep you company along the way.

Purposefully equipped with consideration for the natural environment in mind, you won’t find any dishwashers or washing machines on site. Eco-friendly products are provided in the kitchens and the bathrooms, and there are composting areas throughout – no need to worry about your carbon footprint here! A selection of board games and books is provided, as is the inevitable WiFi.

For an extra touch of originality and a stay kids (of all ages!) will adore, the Shepherd’s Hideaway, set in its own private paddock and sleeping up to six people, comprises four rooms individually housed in stunning oak-clad shepherd’s huts, all cosily insulated with sheep’s wool.  You can also hire a bubbly hot tub on the secluded deck, if the mood should take you.

There’s a spacious master bedroom cabin, with raised double bed and extra room for a cot or additional storage, and a bunk cabin with four bunk beds.  Both sleeping cabins have their own ensuites, featuring truly marvellous countryside views.

Perfect for congregating and relaxing together is the double kitchen/living cabin, with extra heating provided by a traditional wood burning stove.  Here you’ll find two inviting sofa areas, along with a spacious dining table with wraparound benches – and on the other side of the chic French doors there’s a barbecue area, for those long evenings when only a spot of sumptuous sizzling will do!
