Nestled in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, across a bridge and set within a beautiful glade in the 700-hectare Beddgelert Forest, you’ll find just sixteen charming cabins sprinkled amongst the gently rustling trees. This scenic paradise is Forest Holidays Beddgelert.

There is a delicious feeling of seclusion here…almost as though you’ve stumbled across a secret hideaway in the woodland, with a captivating backdrop of mountains and rivers that promises to take your breath away.

The versatile selection of cabins include one, two or three bedrooms, one with wheelchair access and some pet-friendly – meaning just about everybody can enjoy a generous slice of forest luxury, compelling scenery and fresh air adventure.

Each cabin is superbly situated for the very best forest views through floor-to-ceiling windows. A log burner (in Golden Oak and White Willow Premium cabins) will keep you toasty, while on balmier evenings the private decking with hot tub may just turn out to be more of a draw!

Golden Oak Hideaway (sleeps one to two)
Ideal for a romantic getaway, the elegant Golden Oak Hideaway includes a spacious open-plan living area and a hammock on the decking, for a relaxing break to remember.

Golden Oak (sleeps two to six)
The Golden Oak cabins are available in one to three bedrooms, and represent total comfort. Indulgences include a gas barbecue on the decking, and soft robes in the double bedroom/s – what bliss!

Silver Birch (sleeps up to six)
Stylish to the last, the two to three bedroom Silver Birch cabins contain all the comforts of home…and much more besides. The wheelchair-adapted Silver Birch cabin sleeps up to four, with a hoist to assist with moving in and out of the hot tub.

Meanwhile, the Forest Retreat is home to a friendly and welcoming on-site team, who are on hand to answer questions and make holiday suggestions. You’ll also find a shop to stock up on essentials and delicious locally-sourced produce…as well as grabbing a steaming hot drink to take away with you.

There’s a communal seating area that makes the most of the sun, as you snack on fresh morning pastries from The Bakehouse – which also offers a delicious evening takeaway menu if you don’t feel like cooking (and why would you!)

Now it’s time to make the absolute best of your scenic forest heaven. There are endless opportunities to walk, hike, cycle or kayak, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even climb mountains!

The Welsh Highland Railway line is a real delight, even for non-trainspotters. Jump on a vintage steam train from Forest Holidays’ local station, and watch from the window as you wind your way through the picturesque area to Caernarvon or Porthmadog. For a plush day out, why not take a trip to Portmeirion, an ornate village that will make you feel as though you’ve arrived on the Italian coast?

Things to note

Minimum 3 night stay starting Fridays or 4 nights starting Mondays, dog friendly cabins are available and must be pre-booked at a cost of £15 per dog per night, dogs should not be left unattended.
