Embrace the mythology of the red dragon with this unique pop-up glamping experience celebrating Welsh tradition, located in a breathtaking rural setting.

Forming part of an exciting project for the Channel 4 programme 'Cabins in the Wild',  whereby architects are invited to design unique glamping accommodation around the themes of Welsh mythology, tradition and beauty, Dragon's Eye is certainly an 'eye pod' with a difference! Incredibly inventive, the pod's exterior has a stainless steel scaly skin and gridshell roof.  Step inside the eye and you'll find a round, rotating bed sleeping two, that creates the ultimate romantic idyll from where you can take in spectacular views out to the surrounding Welsh countryside. The living area has a cosy wood burner, perfect for a late night cwtch and there is a stylish walk-in wet room with hot shower, complete with reclaimed slate tiles, to give it a contemporary look and feel.

As the Dragon's Eye is only operating on a temporary basis from June through September 2017, you will need to book quickly to be part of your own Welsh fable with a stay in this imaginative boutique pop-up hotel.  Packages range from 4-night midweek stays on full board, to weekend experiences to include dinner round the crackling campfire, entertainment and more. Alternatively why not extend and stay for one week so you can explore the picturesque scenery of Snowdonia and, from July onwards, the Llyn Peninsula?
