Dragon’s Eye (or Llygad y Ddraig, if you’ve got an ear for the Welsh language!) is an awe-inspiring, award-winning glamping pod-for-two that’s perfectly positioned for exploring West Wales in all its rural and coastal glory.

The winner of Netflix’s ‘Cabins in the Wild’ TV series, this amazing pod is expertly crafted from rustic materials including homegrown Douglas fir, cedar, and reclaimed slate. With its curved roof, gleaming full-height glass panels and scaly steel ‘skin’, it actually resembles a wide dragon’s eye!

But the creativity doesn’t end there. Step inside the pod, to be greeted by a round, rotating bed that allows you to enjoy those soothing lakeside views from every direction, night and day.

(There’s an elevated patio if you prefer to immerse yourselves in the Great Outdoors, drink in hand!)

By evening, curl up in front of the crackling wood-burner, enjoying the cosy comfort of sheep’s wool insulation. There’s a portable gas camping stove that’s ideal for rustling up tasty snacks, and you’ll be treated to a welcome pack that includes some delicious local delicacies, too.

Oh – and in case you were wondering if you had to make a midnight dash in the dark to find the loo, the pod is equipped with an en-suite shower room that also features a compost toilet. This is glamping, after all!

If you’re in a sociable mood, there’s a friendly communal area on site – ideal for chatting with all those friends you haven’t met yet – which is luxuriously equipped with a flaming pizza oven and a fridge.
