With its captivating mix of Welsh charm and French style, filled with creative imagination, artistic flourish and delicious dining, you can guarantee that your stay at Château Rhianfa will be worthy of the grandest fairytales.

A Grade II listed château stunningly positioned on the breathtakingly scenic Anglesey water, Rhianfa (an old Welsh expression for “ladies’ abode”) was built in 1849 as a gift for Lady Sarah, wife of Sir John Hay-Williams, Baronet of Bodelwyddan. During their travels, the couple had fallen in love with the Loire province of France, and the opulent style and design found throughout the château and its surrounding areas are beautifully reminiscent of this region.

Whether you choose a room at Rhianfa Lodge, a deluxe château suite or a luxurious self-catering cottage, you can be sure that lasting memories will be made in this unique and very special location.  What better way to escape the trials of everyday life than by looking out across fresh, magnificent views over Snowdonia from your equally lavish window?

Rhianfa Lodge, perfectly situated in green gardens and boasting beautiful views across the Menai Strait, features eight double rooms all freshly styled with clean and classic New England in mind.  Relax amongst soothing blue, grey and white décor, with plush furnishings and wooden panelling that perfectly complements the surrounding scenery – and then enjoy a fine night’s sleep cocooned in soft, downy linen.

With a decadent ensuite, complete with marble tiles, fluffy towels and luxury toiletries, you may find your freshening up routine takes a little longer than usual!

Choose from classic French-styled standard double, deluxe or executive double rooms in the fairytale château itself, where you’ll find comfort perfectly combined with uniquely sumptuous elegance.   One executive double even boasts a circular turret shower room!

The Château suites, gracefully dressed in bold colours and rich fabrics (and one featuring a turret daybed) add a generous helping of luxury to your well-deserved stay, as you enjoy a glass of bubbles with views to the majestic peaks of Snowdonia.
