Brooks Rooftop Rockets

Hit the heights of groovy urban glamping in a Brooks Rooftop Rocket - a supercool selection of Airstream-style caravans on the rooftop of a boutique hotel, in the heart of Bristol's old town!
  • Sleeps: 2 per unit
  • Bedrooms: 1 per unit
  • Bathrooms: 1 per unit
  • Minimum stay: 1 night

Set atop the luxurious Brooks Guesthouse on their own Astroturf lawn, these four Rooftop Rockets give guests the chance to experience a retro caravanning holiday with all the indulgences of a boutique hotel. With gleaming silver exteriors, these British-made caravans evoke the nostalgia of that ultimate American icon – the vintage Airstream – while providing contemporary interiors and all those extra touches you can expect from a hotel stay.

What’s more, with an unbeatable location in one of the UK’s most exciting cities, you’ll feel right in the midst of everything, while your rooftop position ensures the most incredible views of Bristol’s cityscape.

Three different sizes of Rooftop Rocket mean there’s something to suit every preference. The smallest caravan – a 16ft beauty – is perfect for couples, with the ideal amount of space to enjoy your city escape together. Slightly larger, the 18ft Rooftop Rocket offers a little more room for two guests to stretch out, relax and unwind. Both of these sizes come with a comfy double bed. Finally, the two 20ft Rooftop Rockets are ideal for a young family, with a king-size double bed and a seating area that converts to two single beds for children up to eight years old.

Whatever your space requirements, all Rooftop Rockets have the same level of superb contemporary luxury. Your bed at one end of the caravan features a super cosy pocket-sprung mattress, topped with a goose-down duvet and pillows for the sweetest rooftop dreams. At the opposite end is your seating area, perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee, taking in the view and planning exciting days in the city. You’ll also find a flat-screen TV with an integrated DVD player, eco-friendly LED and low energy lighting and gorgeous Designer Guild curtains and cushions providing extra homely touches.

Your Rooftop Rocket also incorporates a small but very perfectly formed bathroom! Freshen up in the Hans Grohe eco-shower before sharpening up in front of the demisting mirror, complete with a built-in light and shaver point. Fluffy cotton towels are also provided, so there’s no need to bring your own.

The hotel experience doesn’t stop there. Your stay also includes the most fabulous breakfast served in the guesthouse’s beautiful breakfast area! Select from an award-winning menu of free-range, local produce, designed to cater for every taste. Whether your ideal morning involves homemade granola or French toast, Eggs Florentine or a fantastic Full English, you’ll be well set up for the day ahead whichever you choose!

Guests are also welcome to use Brooks Guesthouse’s other fantastic facilities, including the pretty courtyard and ground-floor lounge area. Here, you can relax in comfy sofas and armchairs, fix yourself a drink from the well-stocked honesty bar, and unwind with a book or magazine before checking in with the world on the guest laptop.
