A perfect base for exploring Carmarthenshire – otherwise known as the ‘Garden of Wales’ – there’s a wealth of delights to be discovered at Erwain Escapes. They include a gorgeous sunken bath to soak in after hiking the nearby Brecon Beacons, and a handcrafted oak bed topped with toasty Welsh blankets… ideal for lazy lie-ins!
As Erwain Escapes approaches its first anniversary in April (and an exciting TV feature on the horizon, conveniently coinciding as the celebrations approach – you heard it here first!) we’ve partnered with owners Angela and Ian to give one fortunate winner a delightful two-night stay.

Entering the competition
Participants may enter the competition online via the entry form on our blog post. Entry is free and participants may only enter once via each of the entry methods available – each separate entry action will count as one entry. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party other than those specified above. No responsibility is accepted by the Host Unusual or its associates for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.
The Prize
First prize is a two-night stay for up to 2 adults at Erwain Escapes in Carmerthenshire, Wales (the two consecutive nights stay is valid up until 15th December 2024 and is subject to availability. The prize excludes all Bank Holiday stays, and any weekend stays between 1 Jun – 31 Aug 2024 and at the owner’s discretion) PLUS a Merino wool beanie hat and a pair of wool trail socks of your choice from The Level Collective (subject to availability). Non refundable, non transferable, entrants 18 years and over. The prize cannot be exchanged for its monetary value and no correspondence will be entered into. No travel costs are included to and from the accommodation. Erwain Escapes’ general booking terms and conditions apply and for the purposes of this prize. Erwain Escapes reserves the right to refuse bookings. Personal details must be supplied in order for your booking at Erwain Escapes to be administered, and T&Cs must be adhered to.
One runners up prize of a forest green Summit Society t-shirt in the winner’s chosen size from The Level Collective (subject to availability) is also offered, posted free, for residents living within the UK and Northern Ireland only. No cash alternative. Not refundable, not transferable.
The winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision from all valid entries received. The winners will be notified by email within 3 working days and will have 7 days from the date the notification was sent to claim their prize.
In the event that a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within the timescale required, the winner shall forfeit their prize and the Host Unusual reserves the right to offer the prize to another participant of the competition.
Host Unusual reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the competition at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its control.
By entering the competition, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions, and Host Unusual reserves the right to disqualify participants who it considers to have not complied with any of these terms and conditions; or any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.
