Magic, romance, nostalgia and escapism.  If we couldsum up each of our latest offerings for you this would be our attempt, and itsounds like a wonderful recipe indeed!  First we visit an artist’s curiouswonderland in the South-West, then a charming working farm and glamping havenin the Leicester countryside.  To the south coast, and a vibrant splash of1970s automative retro, before finally retreating to a brilliantly converted romanticstone barn just a stone’s throw from the Yorkshire Dales.

A place filled with artistry and magic, The Curious Cabinetis a sanctuary spearheaded by owner Sadie, with the aim of teleporting you awayfrom the demands and distractions of everyday life with her CuriousRetreats.  With a secret setting only revealed once your booking isconfirmed, you are guaranteed fun and adventure in these uniquely convertedshow vans.  Or if you prefer a more boutique option, her charming Bristolguesthouse is just what you need.

To the gorgeous Leicestershire countryside we go now and TheDandelion Hideaway, where resident farm animals will be there to greet you. Anexcellent choice for families, there is even a children’s Summer Camp withgames den including hay bales, table tennis and wigwams. The canvas cottageshere have a nostalgic, country feel and are equally romantic as they areconvenient, and Bluebells even comes with its own Treehouse – so the kids canstay next door!
 
Mission Bay Campers

A ray of Californian sunshine for you to climb on board andcommandeer for your own adventure, Daisy is Mission Bay Campers‘ classic 1979VW camper van allowing you to enjoy all the perks of van life with none of thehassle! She started life in Mission Bay, California, and made her transatlanticjourney to Dorset in 2013.  Daisy is a regular at several campsites insunny Dorset, so all you need do is select one that takes your fancy and she’llbe there, all set up and waiting – or can even be delivered to your favouritefestival for you.
