Now the eggs have transformed into empty wrappers, thebunnies have gone back into hiding and it’s back to normality after the longEaster weekend, it’s the perfect time to consider an early summermini-break.  We have four new options for you to consider, ranging from agroup ‘medieval’ style celebration in a fairytale castle to eco-friendly andoff-grid glamping experiences and a stunningly-set beach house in Dorset.
Walton Castle 
Live a real-life fairytale when you discover the sheeruniqueness of a stay at Walton Castle. Dating back to the 17th Century, thisincredible castle has all the charm and character you’d expect – turrets, akeep, hot tub, pool, acres of grounds – and it can accommodate a group of up to16 guests. Henfryn Farm
Set foot on this car-free Greener Camping Club andwonderfully off-grid rural retreat in Wales and you will find yourselfinstantly dropping the pace as you take in the peace and serenity of thecountryside. A working farm in Carmarthernshire, Henfryn Farm offers homely andspacious bell tents and a brand new shepherd’s hut for 2017, set in a tranquilhay meadow and with a private deck to enjoy the sunset – along with the obligatoryfire pit to toast some marshmallows on well into the evening. Nearby you’llfind the majestic Preseli Mountain range and stunning West Wales coast toexplore.
Acorn Glade
An adult-only ‘grownups glamping’ sanctuary in the heart ofthe Yorkshire countryside, if you are looking for a romantic retreat to a morenatural way of life then look no further than Acorn Glade. Another off-gridescape from busy life, you have a range of accommodation options to choose fromhere, from spacious canvas yurts to an insulated timber cabin overlooking apicturesque lake and a 100-year old bow-top gypsy wagon with solar lights andstained-glass window. Short House Chesil Beach
Our final destination is the World Heritage Jurassic Coastof Dorset and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Short House is achic beach house and converted barn as part of a country estate, enviablylocated just 400 metres from the sands of Chesil Beach. Breath-taking oceanviews, distinctive bright and contemporary decor and use of the on-site tenniscourts are just some of the attractions of this wonderful pet-friendly beachretreat.  Not to mention the glorious beaches, coves and perfect coastalwalks in both directions that all beg to be explored.
