Newly opened for Spring 2017, Hotel Barge Waternimf wasoriginally built to carry cargo around the waterways in the Netherlands.However, she now enjoys a very different life and vocation indeed! Following an extensive renovation of the interior, there are now fivecontemporary en-suite bedrooms on board Waternimf in which to relax, as sheoccupies a serene spot along the Great Ouse River in historic Ely. The loungeis a great spot to relax in, and the outdoor decks are ideal for a sundowner ortwo as you watch the world pass by along the river’s edge. Sounds prettyperfect to us!

Yurts that are handcrafted with care and precision from Oakand Hazlenut wood, and furnished to an exceptional standard, from the Hungariangoose down duvets to wooden futons and flooring; Round the Woods really takesthe glamping experience up a notch! Outside, new large curved decks provide theultimate space for unwinding and taking in the Norfolk countryside views, andyou have your own BBQ, swing tennis and comfortable luxury hammock with curved woodenframe to really drop the pace and enjoy the peaceful setting to the fullest.

Jump aboard and head to the quiet village of Northiam on theKent and Sussex borders; Railway Retreats‘ incredibly converted MK1 railway carriage isactually set inside the steam railway station, so you do not even need to leavethe carriage to witness steam trains pulling up – just 20ft away from you. Thereis even an elevated balcony and viewing platform from which guests can enjoysunset as well as the unique views!  The interior is bright, modern andrefreshing and since it sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms, it’s somewhereyou can take the whole family for a holiday they will most definitely remember!
