Eight of the Best Hygge-Packed Festive Getaways

15 December 2019

Now that we are fully immersed in December, it’s safe to say the festive feeling has well and truly landed.

So with our chestnuts preparing for roasting and our halls getting decked with boughs of holly, cosy interiors certainly seem to be de rigueur! Think mood lighting, snug seating, fireplaces, layers of textures…maybe even a hot toddy steaming away on the rustic wooden table (it would be rude not to, right?)
The festive mood need not be confined to your own home either – why not plan a winter escape away somewhere packed with hygge and an added dose of seasonal atmosphere?

We have hand-selected eight of the most festive and unique places to stay that spring to mind.

You never know, you may even get to open your curtains to a blanket of snow if you wish hard enough!
