Freshen up in your en-suite shower, and then it’s onto the important business of planning your day.

If you’re not staying on site, the good news is there’s plenty to see and do in the local area. Just four miles from the bustling town of Framlingham – the setting for Ed Sheeran’s smash-hit song, ‘Castle on the Hill’ – and 12 miles from coastal Aldeburgh, all you have to do is decide where to go first!

Visit nearby Southwold, only slightly further afield, to enjoy a traditional fish-and-chip supper, washed down with a brewery or distillery tour at the locally-famous Adnams… you could even arrange a gin-making class if you felt so inclined.

But if all that sounds a little too complicated or energetic, you’re free to remain on the dreamy Kingfishers site all holiday long, until that spectacular sunset rolls around again.
