Even before you’ve reached The Coach House, you’ll be itching to update your Instagram account with idyllic scenes from the surrounding area.
Perfectly positioned on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and Teesdale – with Barnard Castle close by – you’ll also be in ridiculously easy reach of the Lake District National Park and the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Then, once you’ve stepped inside the luxurious former coach house, you’ll be in photo-heaven!
Expertly combining original features with vibrant modern décor and high-end appliances, you’ll be greeted by steel beams, polished concrete floors, and soaring ceilings, all accented by rich colours and carved wooden furniture.
Natural daylight floods cheerfully inside from the many windows and doors. Yet when the sun has set there’s a gorgeous built-in log burner, all ready to warm your toes as you relax with a well-deserved glass of wine, and treats from your locally-sourced welcome hamper.
Snuggle up on the huge L-shaped sofa to watch a movie on the Smart TV, or get lost in conversation until it’s time for dinner. This you can whip up in the fabulously-equipped, open-plan kitchen and dining area…
…though if you don’t feel like cooking there are endless options, including pub grub, freshly-prepared deli meals, or even hiring a locally-recommended private chef.
