Sleeping up to six guests, and secluded amongst flourishing woodland just ten minutes from historic Lewes, The Big Green Bus represents a genuine labour of love.

Featured on the TV series George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, the classic 1982 Metro bus was rescued from the scrapheap by skilled carpenter Adam Collier-Woods. Now transformed into a cosy countryside haven, you’ll find this original bus decked in colour and creativity, with comfy upcycled furnishings and plenty of original features left lovingly in tact.

Once on board, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and lounge on the lower deck – there’s even a crackling log burner! – together with a wet room and toilet.

Three bedrooms await as you head upstairs to the top deck (two doubles and one bunk room). Of course, the top deck is everyone’s favourite bit of the bus, so you’ll find a fabulous chill-out space at the front, complete with books, games, and two original bus seats. Well – you have to make the most of those amazing views!

Relax amongst the whispering trees…with no TV, loud music or WiFi to distract you, it’s easy to get lost in nature. For an extra treat, fire up the hot tub, grab a glass of bubbles, and just breathe easy.
