Offering exclusive family-friendly glamping between 21st and 23rd August 2023, Starry Meadow Camping promises to re-introduce you to all the fun and glory of nature… in the most comfortable way possible!
A ‘pop-up’ glamping village for families and friends alike, you’ll find Starry Meadow occupying a private and exclusive location within the spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park.
After you’ve unpacked, you can cradle a sundowner and savour the magnificent mountain backdrop (this part of the world is also Wales’s first designated Dark Sky reserve, hence the camp’s starry name.)
For off-site daytime entertainment, the adventure-rich River Wye is just a short walk away, as is the quaint, picturesque town of Hay-on-Wye, bursting with vintage shops, bookstores, and foodie stops.
Better still, there’ll be no wrestling with tent poles at the campsite, since your roomy canvas bell tent will be pre-pitched and furnished, all ready for your arrival. Each tent will comfortably sleep a family of four, with room for two more little ones if needed.
Complete with fitted flooring, memory foam-topped futons, and Indian bedside tables, these are no ordinary tents! There are also plenty of soft fairy lights and colourful bunting, to make your comfy surroundings feel extra-special.

What the guests of Starry Meadow Camping say
“We’ve just got home from a fantastic break at Starry Meadows. There was everything we needed, pretty bell tent with comfortable beds, great toilet & shower facilities, games tent for the kids which showed a film every evening, bar for the parents, fire pits for toasting marshmallows in the evening and great quality food vendors who came to the site in the evening. Happy parents, lots of children running around playing, all smiley faces. This saved our summer, thank you to everyone involved, so happy we found you.”
“The set up, atmosphere and facilities were great. The people working there were absolutely lovely and created such a family friendly camping experience. All the children played together in the evenings allowing parents to relax in the knowledge their children were safe and happy. Producing a festival inspired family orientated camp was such a brilliant idea and we hope the feedback and success of this year will inspire them to do it again next year. Thank you for giving us such an enjoyable and memorable family break away.”
