A dreamlike, TV-featured retreat comprising luxuriously restored and handcrafted accommodation, cosily nestled amongst 30 tranquil acres of wildlife-steeped Norfolk parkland.
  • Sleeps: 2-3 per unit
  • Bedroom: 1 per unit
  • Bathroom: Varies
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Blissfully located by Thetford Forest and Kings Forest, you’ll discover Settle Norfolk nestled amongst 30 stunning acres of private, ancient tree-strewn parkland that’s teeming with diverse wildlife.

Amongst many others, here you can expect to meet passing roe deer, hares, swans and songbirds… and if you’re lucky, perhaps even the rare, beautiful golden pheasant. Meanwhile, the serene, shimmering lakes are packed with fish.

Against such a soothing backdrop, it’s only fitting that the accommodation on offer at Settle Norfolk is designed for cosy relaxation, in imaginative, unique havens that are almost as picturesque as their surroundings.

Choose from a handcrafted lakeside cabin for up to three guests, two luxury safari bell tents, or three lovingly restored vintage railway carriages, each sleeping up to two guests (and if Carriage Number Three looks familiar, that’s because its restoration was filmed for the popular TV show, Amazing Spaces!)

Each stylish, self-contained retreat boasts furnishings, décor and accessories from a carefully curated community of local and artisanal suppliers, each one of whom shares Settle Norfolk’s passion for slow, sustainable – and beautiful – living.

The boutique, handcrafted cabin features a relaxed, open plan living-and-kitchen space with huge glass doors that showcase the water lily lake to perfection. There’s a sleek, black Bertazzoni cooker that’s ideal for slow-cooked suppers, and a soft-glowing woodburner to warm your souls on cool evenings.

Meanwhile, the superking bedroom is ideal for long lie-ins, while the large, opulent bathroom, with its freestanding stone egg bath, may prove very hard to leave.
