You’ll discover four glamping options inspired by Native Americans, Mongolian clans, gypsy travellers and Inuit people, as well as a stunning flower garden, spaces to relax and unbeatable views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. So whether you’re searching for a romantic retreat with a difference or a wonderfully memorable family holiday, you’re bound to find it here.

In true Spanish style, everything at Nomad Xperience is an explosion of colour, whether it’s the vibrant interiors of your nomadic dwelling, the rich pinks and reds of the beautiful shrubs and flowers, or the azure blue skies above. Each abode combines authentic features with Mediterranean touches of home, creating an atmosphere that’s truly unique to this wonderful place.

Even better, you’ll discover modern luxuries throughout, so you there’s no need to embrace every element of Nomadic living if you prefer your creature comforts! Whether you choose the Tipi, the Yurt, the Gypsy Wagon or the Xiglu, you’ll find comfy king-size beds topped in sumptuous linen, as well as electricity, an inviting lounging space and a private garden area for ultimate relaxation. Each comes with its own bathroom with a shower and toilet, while all have access to a fully equipped, semi-outdoor kitchen. What’s more, each one accommodates extra beds for extra nomads!

The Tipi is so authentic in appearance, it could have easily been lifted from the American plains! This huge canvas cone, over five metres wide with wooden rods protruding from the top, is set among beautiful shrubs in a private corner of the garden. A cowhide rug gives a nod to the Tipi’s Native American roots, while coloured string lights and a Hollywood lamp bring it right into the 21st century. Charming and romantic, the Tipi is a perfect hideaway.

Or escape to the steppes of Mongolia in the Yurt, which has been beautifully finished in Asian-inspired décor, including prayer flags, bright beaded cushions, patchwork quilts and intricate hand-painted details on every strut and beam. Outside, you’ll discover a cute garden with sun traps and shade; back inside, a wooden floor below and a roof which opens to star-studded skies above make the Yurt a very special place to stay.

The Gypsy Wagon is vibrant, cosy and very much one of a kind. This handmade gypsy caravan is colourful both outside and in, giving a flavour of the spirit and energy of traveller life. Curl up in the cosy sleeping compartment and wake to exceptional views of the mountains, without even lifting your head from your pillow! You’ll also find a lovely garden space outside, under the shade of a lantern-lit tree.

Finally, the Xiglu – Nomad Xperience’s latest addition – offers a beautiful and completely eco-friendly circular retreat. An insulated dome built of wood (ice wouldn’t last long in these temperatures!), it offers over 35m2 of space, as well as an additional pull-out double bed. It’s also the only dwelling where the private bathroom is incorporated inside, as is its own kitchen area. An igloo with sunshine – the perfect combination!

As well as your unbelievable accommodation, at Nomad Xperience guests have use of the shared BBQ and large private swimming pool, and can also order a delicious breakfast served daily (for an additional fee). If you’re feeling active, take the chance to get out and about in the glorious surroundings, with activities organised on your behalf by your hosts. Canyoning in Rio Verde, hiking and climbing, paddle boarding and windsurfing, even paragliding are all possible – so get out there and get the adrenaline pumping!

Afterwards, return to the peace and quiet of Nomad Xperience, feeling at one with world around you from the comfort of your outdoor hideaway…pure heaven.

Things to note

Breakfast can be paid separately, enquire for details. Children under 3 years can stay free of charge, otherwise they are charged at €25 per child per night. No smoking inside accommodation. Minimum booking period in July and August is 3 nights and at other times is 1 night.
