Middle Stone Farm is a bustling haven of lively activity, and Gold award winner for Glamping at the Bath, Bristol and Somerset Tourism Awards. This beautiful site offers not only plenty of luxury eco-friendly accommodation set on acres of lush farmland, but also a friendly welcoming committee of chickens, geese, alpaca, rare-breed sheep and goats!

The perfect base for escaping to explore the beauty of Somerset and the North Devon coastline, Middle Stone Farm is home to six lavish safari lodges (two of which are dog friendly), complete with their own wood-fired Swedish hot tub, a charmingly converted stable cottage and a wooden Deckhouse cabin (both also with private hot tubs) – simply choose your ideal place to rest your heads and get ready to enjoy plenty of natureful comfort and adventure!

Nestled in a three-acre glamping field and generously spaced for privacy, the canvas safari lodges each sleep up to six people with room for an extra cot, with one larger lodge also including a playroom. A swing ball set and a hammock await you outside, while inside you’ll find a king-sized bed, twin beds and a double, all dressed in fresh cotton linen for a sound night’s sleep.

The luxury doesn’t end there, as each lodge also houses its own sustainably-heated shower room and flushing toilet…no late-night queues for the loo here! The kitchen area is well-equipped, with all you need to prepare hearty feasts.  You’ll find a barbecue and picnic table outside, for when only al-fresco dining will do.

Relax on the decking – or better still, in your private hot tub – as you enjoy the blissfully tranquil views across to Exmoor and the rolling Quantock Hills, perhaps watching the first stars appear in the evening sky over a glass of bubbles!

The ground-level cottage, lovingly converted from a former stable, is situated opposite a large barn and attached to the farmhouse.  Cheerfully and colourfully decorated, you’ll discover plenty of original features throughout, including a slate floor and traditional ceiling beams. The bedrooms are cosy and welcoming, while the shower room is contemporary and indulgently spacious. A private hot tub is the cherry on top!

The enchanting wooden Deckhouse, with views across wide open grazing land, is secluded on the other side of the farm, making it ideal for small groups looking for extra privacy. With its own wood-fired hot tub and barbecue that’s perfect for toasting marshmallows, you’ll find you have all you need for a fresh-air filled break full of natural luxury, as you admire the whitewashed timber walls and prepare mouthwatering feasts in the kitchen area.
