Unique and striking, Lark Rise is a wow-factor retreat that’s moments from the golden sand and scenic swimming spots at Camber Sands Beach, and just three miles from the medieval town of Rye.

Which is all well and good, but first you’ll have to leave!  And that could be difficult, when you’ve been instantly captivated by the shack’s sleek, black cladded exterior, and when your jaws drop after stepping inside.

Sleeping up to six guests and two well-behaved dogs, the spacious, creatively furnished open-plan lounge is ideal for family chillout sessions, with its squishy sofa, Smart TV, and huge, light-attracting windows.

Just behind is the relaxed dining area, with a comfy table that’s made for long, lazy feasts with your loved ones!

Luckily, the stylish kitchen is well-equipped for whipping up feasts of just about every description, featuring a gas Range hob and double oven, two under-counter fridges, and that all-important dishwasher.

What to do when dinner’s over? Just up the spiral staircase is a funky mezzanine den area, furnished with bean bags and board games. There’s also a separate garden cabin that’s home to a cinema room, a double sleeping platform, and a wet room with show-stopping, handcrafted Zellige tiles.

There are two kingsize bedrooms back in the main house, each one gainfully equipped with a Smart TV, and one with its own ensuite, whilst there is also a family bathroom with a luxurious shower.
