Secluded on a farm in rural Carmarthenshire, Bob the RV enjoys plenty of big-sky, wide open space that’s perfect for families and friends in need of a relaxed country escape.
An authentic American recreational vehicle (or RV for short!), Bob is large enough to sleep up to eight guests, with a squishy double sofa bed, a dining table that cleverly converts into a comfy bed, two double bunks, and a kingsize bedroom to choose from.
Once you’ve claimed your favourite sleeping space, you’re free to grab a beer – or pour a refined glass of wine – and chill out in Bob’s laid-back open-plan living space.
Surrounded by sumptuous furnishings and soothing wooden elements, you’ll find a Smart TV to keep you entertained when you’re all talked out, and an electric fire to warm your evenings.
The generous kitchen area features a gas cooker, a microwave, and a fridge-freezer, though if the sun happens to be shining, so much the better!
Now you can wander out to your private enclosed garden, which just happens to come equipped with a beer fridge and a barbecue for sizzling sociable suppers, as automatic awning shades you from the sunshine.
In the mood for chatting with new friends? The Hoop Barn is a communal space with a barbecue and a seating area… offering an ideal way to get to know the other holidaymakers on site.

Take a long, energising country walk, or head into Llandeilo for a change of scenery. Situated at the crossing of the shimmering River Towy, in 2021 The Times named this pretty town one of Wales’s top places to live, praising it as “a sophisticated shopping destination and a great showcase for local arts and crafts.”
You could also visit the romantic, ruined Dinefwr Castle, or stroll around the National Botanical Gardens, before a slap-up lunch in one of the many restaurants you’ll find in the area.
Brought the kids along? Family-friendly attractions include Oakwood, Wales’s largest theme park, packed with thrilling adventures suitable for all ages, and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, with over 750 animals to meet!
