An instantly welcoming family-run retreat, you’ll find Blossom Orchard dreamily positioned amongst 10 private acres, in the sleepy Somerset village of Wearne.
There’s a distinct feeling of rural paradise here, as you unwind surrounded by over 300 native apple trees, and gorgeous wildflower meadows. Then there are paddocks of friendly alpacas, and free-range chickens going about their daily lives without a care in the world.
Your luxurious accommodation is a thoughtfully-furnished yurt-for-two, named Barn Owl or Woodpecker after the local wildlife, and which you’ll find privately positioned amidst those gently rustling apple trees.
Inside your chosen yurt await all the home comforts you could ask for, including a downy kingsize bed, lazy lounging chairs, and a soft-glowing wood-burning stove to warm your evenings… though on summer nights you might prefer toasting marshmallows on the stargazing firepit, instead.
You’ll find those all-important tea and coffee-making facilities inside your yurt, too, while just a few steps away is a converted stone barn that’s home to a sumptuous communal area.
Here you’ll find a comfy lounge that’s ideal for chatting with friends you haven’t met yet, a generous kitchen and dining area – and of course, spacious showers and toilets.
After a sound night’s sleep, we recommend taking your time over rustling up and devouring a hearty home-cooked breakfast. After all, if you’re going to explore the local area, you’re going to need the energy!
