Experience new heights of sophistication with some of our latest arrivalsto Host Unusual, all towering proudly over their surrounding landscape.Choose from accommodation within the grounds of Norfolk’s only working windmill, or perhaps one of Craighead’s unique ‘howfs’ including a loftytreehouse in the heart of rural Scotland, or maybe even a fairytale folly – the tallest in the UK at 175 feet – with its very own Rapunzel Room and complete with unsurprisingly dazzling views!

Welcome to the only windmill in Norfolk to remain in working order, complete with working oven and five floors to explore! Bircham Windmillis an exciting complex where you can not only explore this historic site but also relax in unique on-site accommodation. Ryeland and Romney are two cute shepherd’s huts perfectly positioned in the mill grounds, so you can wake up to views of the windmill sails. For those who prefer their bricks and mortar, Humphrey Cottage is for you and also set withinthe complex, or if you prefer to be amongst the elements there are also15 grass pitches to pitch up in.

‘Howf’ is Scottish for favourite haunt of family and friends – and wherebetter to experience this than Craighead, set within sensational Perthshire countryside. Each howfhas its own distinctive character. Muckle Howf is a stone-build steading with its own whiskey lounge, library, sauna and hot tub – the ultimate indulgent pad! Wee Howf is a secluded off-grid and handcrafted cabin to escape to, Summer Howf a country retreat in its own thriving gardens, and Tree Howf, a masterpiece of treehouse design within the branches of an ancient ash tree, with 360 degree views over the rolllingOchil Hills.

You would be hard pushed to find a folly that looks more fairytale-like than the Hadlow Tower. Risingmajestically into the skies, this 19th Century Grade I listed architectural delight has been beautifully restored and converted into luxury holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests. The tallest folly in the UK, as you can imagine the panoramic views from the tower’s upper levels are simply astounding, and the spiral staircases and stained glass windows all add to the atmospheric character. The Rapunzel Room, with its private dressing room and mezzanine en-suite is the room to bagfor the highest viewpoint!
