New to Host Unusual: Howgills Hideaway, The Green House, Seacombe and Wye Glamping

26/03/2017 New to Host Unusual: Howgills Hideaway, The Green House, Seacombe and Wye Glamping

Four unique new holiday destinations have arrived here at Host Unusual and we are delighted to announce them to you. Choose from cute eco pods set between the Lakes and the Dales, a remote seaside house with hot tub opposite the Isle of Skye, a RIBA award-winning contemporary haven on the Devon coast and a cosy Welsh glamping retreat with a truly stunning backdrop. They are all just waiting to be booked and experienced, so don't delay!

Howgills Hideaway

As part of a new site last year the excellent eco pods at Howgills Hideaway have a brilliantly fresh look and feel.  These unique pods are the perfect getaway to escape from the world, cutely clad in timber and with unbeatable views out to the majestic Howgill Fells.  They also sleep up to 4 so are a brilliant idea for a family break in a stunning natural setting. The Fells enjoy a perfect strategic position between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, so you are really spoilt for choice when it comes to places to explore!

The Green House

Picture a secluded and rustic house with wood-burning hot tub, perched overlooking a serenely beautiful loch and the Isle of Skye opposite; a landscape whose colours seem to change subtly throughout the course of the day. If this sounds like your idyll of choice then The Green House is perfect for you. Romantic, scenic and the ideal place to fully appreciate nature; the owners can also organise bespoke adventures at sea to help you further explore the blissful surroundings.

Another seaside escape, this time on the south coast in Devon at Seacombe - a true one-of-a-kind.  Architecturally designed with huge floor-to-ceiling windows to give panoramic sea views, the property has won two RIBA awards.  The cinema room accessed through an opening bookcase is one of the unique features and the furnishing is of an exceptional standard throughout, with underfloor heating and integrated sound system too. Venture out and you'll find yourself in the heart of a scenic Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and gorgeous coastal paths.

Wye Glamping

Nestled in one of Wales's most beautiful spots with a backdrop of the majestic Brecon Beacons, Wye Glamping (as the name suggests) is close to popular Hay-on-Wye.  This idyllic off-grid glamping spot is home to a spacious yurt and four bell tents, all finished with comfort in mind and some luxurious touches to transport you far from away the traditional notion of camping!  Wood-burning stoves, rugs, cushions, comfy duvets, and your own sheltered kitchen area and luxury shower room; Wye Glamping takes the camping experience to a completely different level.
