Full description
A design-led haven, strikingly nestled in the heart of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and a mere stone's throw from a scenic, family-and-dog-friendly beach.

Secluded along a private road in the middle of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Alpha promises to melt your cares away, as if by magic.

The perfect location for wildlife-loving groups of family and friends (everyone is welcome, including four-legged friends!), you're also moments away from an enchanting pebbled beach that transforms into an enormous, big sky playground when the tide is out. A more idyllic spot for family kite flying, or letting the dog run wild, is hard to imagine.

A newly constructed, design-led retreat that sleeps up to seven guests, there is plenty of sociable, light-filled, and tastefully decorated space for everybody to relax in.

You'll enter via the glass-fronted, plant-filled storm porch; itself a wondrous setting from which to gaze out over the expanses of green countryside, farmland, and neighbouring wildlife, whilst clutching a fresh mug of morning coffee.

Flooded with daylight from huge windows, and equipped with toasty underfloor heating, the living, dining and kitchen area is a delight to spend time in, catching up with your loved ones amongst clean-lined, Scandi-style surroundings. You'll be able to chat away with the person nominated to do the cooking, as you relax with a well-deserved glass of wine!

After dinner, the ‘snug' area, furnished with squishy seating and a wood burning stove, is the ideal place to unwind over more laughter-fuelled conversation.

When you're ready to turn in, simply take the stairs to discover a spacious double room with comfy chairs, sea views, and a generous selection of books... there are also  some ‘World of Interiors' magazines for you to thumb your way through, just in case you're feeling inspired!

There's a huge second bedroom that features four generously spaced single beds and screen dividers for extra privacy. Oh, and there's a comfy sofa bed in the living area to accommodate an extra guest.

(Though the house is flooded with light, there's plenty of thoughtful attention to detail - including handmade blackout blinds - to ensure you can enjoy a restful night's sleep!)

On sunny mornings, why not begin your day by relaxing out on the deck, before heading out to explore the charms of the area?  There's a mouth-watering deli just a stroll away... ideal for stocking up on locally produced goodies.

Then, take a windswept, big sky walk along the pebble beach, or if you prefer more sand, simply jump in the car to nearby Camber Sands, instead! If you've brought your bikes, a 20-minute ride through the nature reserve will lead you straight into the bustling town of Rye.

(See what we mean about melting those cares away?)
