Dwelling at No.9
USA / Nashville, Tennessee
Full description
A gorgeously romantic vintage trailer filled with whimsical delights, creatively secluded on an organic farm in Nashville.
Stylish, imaginative and...well, just achingly cool, Dwelling at No. 9 is a relaxingly restored 1949 Spartan Royal Mansion trailer, privately secluded on Ashland City's organic No. 9 Farms.
Just 25 minutes from downtown Nashville, the Dwelling is an ideal base for exploring the Music City. Yet once you've clapped eyes upon these serene surroundings, you might feel inclined to change all those hectic plans!
The creative brainchild of the farm's friendly owners Brian and Stephanie Oaks, you'll find the Dwelling complete with its very own 50ft, covered wraparound deck - shielding you beautifully from the elements, whilst ensuring you can still enjoy them to the max (you'll even find a furnished stargazing deck to immerse yourselves in the vast, twinkling night sky).
There's also an outdoor kitchen, complete with gas grill and plenty of space to create culinary masterpieces, and a custom outdoor bathhouse that's built for indulgence. Featuring double overhead rainfall showers and a romantic clawfoot tub, there will be robes, fluffy towels and organic soap waiting for you.
The roomy trailer itself is equipped with heat, air con and soft lighting, along with a downy queen bed, kitchen, dining nook, a cosy lounge with sofa bed, and a polished stainless steel bathroom equipped with a loo and sink.
There are plenty of thoughtful ‘extras' provided to help your stay along...including books, games, cocktail accessories, and fresh local whole bean coffee. Oh, and not forgetting a welcome bouquet of freshly-picked flowers from the farm.
With no distracting WiFi or TV, and little to no mobile phone coverage, all that's left to do is unplug, relax and unwind with your favourite person - what bliss!
Cook breakfast on the firepit (Brian and Stephanie also supply a delicious optional breakfast kit including fresh eggs and seasonal greens), and then take a wander down to the farm. Say hi to the resident cats and chickens, and if you like, stock up on fresh produce including juicy berries, eggs, herbs, flowers and organic tea.
(The farm serves a wide selection of the very best restaurants in Nashville - so if you need any recommendations, just ask!)
Meanwhile, there is some fantastic hiking in the local area. If you don't want to stray too far, simply grab a picnic and a bottle of wine, and head for the awe-inspiring views at nearby Marrowbone Creek.
Otherwise, simply curl up with a good book, or just enjoy hanging out and reconnecting with the one you love. Take your time...with your scene so beautifully set, you've got nothing else to do, and nowhere else to be.
Things to note
Children under 12/pets are not permitted to stay. Please note that there is no WiFi access, and guests will require a car to access the property. Photoshoots are possible, enquire for details. Kits are available to purchase that include local Nashville products. Check in is from 3pm, check out is midday.
