Bee Cottage celebrates the very best of 20th-century interior design, where an eclectic collection of modernist furnishings puts a spin of retro elegance on this very unique bolthole. Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, Bee Cottage is ideal for families, and with baby-friendly extras available (including a travel cot, high chair and stairgate), it's perfect for all generations.
Spread across three floors, Bee Cottage has an inimitable style all of its own, where every detail combines to create this truly beautiful hideaway. Sophisticated colour schemes, homely features, and - of course - those incredible vintage fixtures and fittings, create a winning combination that has you feeling at home the minute you step over the threshold.
Unwind in the peaceful living room where a comfy sofa and antique chairs provide ample seating. There's no place better to curl up together, whether you're perusing Netflix, enjoying a DVD, or challenging yourselves on the Xbox.
Leading through, the dining area is decked out in a gorgeous blue-grey - a perfect contrast to the vintage gold wall art and ‘60s chandelier. Dine together around the retro oak marquetry table for six to sounds from the wireless speaker, or step further back in time with some vinyl on the record player!
The large kitchen is kitted out with every modern amenity you could need, including a fabulous Rangemaster cooker, microwave, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine. There's also a cafetiere for fresh coffee each morning, a hand blender and even a slow cooker - ideal for returning to perfectly cooked dinners after a day's adventures out and about.
The kitchen leads to the garden, complete with a lawn and fabulous patio. With brightly coloured string lights and reclaimed funfair panels on the wall, all you need are a few drinks, some good company and the BBQ sizzling away for unforgettable long summer evenings.
Back inside, you'll find two of Bee Cottage's bedrooms on the first floor - a light and bright double room and a beautiful blue twin room. Both feature original 1960s storage units, antique furnishings and original Victorian fireplaces for an extra touch of nostalgia.
At the top of Bee Cottage is the final bedroom - a large and luxurious king size room, with an ingenious headboard fashioned from a wooden folding screen, pretty vintage lampshades and a super groovy wicker bucket chair for ultimate retro cool!
Bee Cottage also boasts a large family bathroom, featuring a sumptuous roll top bath with shower above, as well as a separate WC.
