Stay in an iconic, TV-featured stone cottage surrounded by spectacular fruit-filled gardens - welcome to the Italy of your dreams!

If you think you've seen Trullo of Dreams somewhere before, you could be right. Used as a filming location for the BBC and American television shows including House Hunters International, you can be sure that the views both inside and out are even more magnificent when seen in real life!

Steeped in centuries of history, Trullo of Dreams (‘trulli' are circular stone cottages unique to rural Italy, with iconic conical roofs) has been carefully renovated to preserve its breathtaking original features, with plenty of attention to detail throughout. The result is unique and luxurious accommodation for up to six people.

Set just five miles from Martina Franca - the chic ‘City of Festivals' - and within easy reach of the award-winning tropical beaches found along the Ionian coastline, Trullo of Dreams couldn't be more perfectly located. Add a large outdoor swimming pool and extensive private gardens, bursting with a vast selection of fruit trees you're welcome to pick from, and you may believe you've arrived in heaven itself.

There are so many special ways to relax here, from curling up with a good book in the double hammock hanging between the fruit trees, preparing a sizzling supper on the stone-built barbecue, or simply marvelling at the beauty of your trullo's gentle stone arches, intriguing alcoves and fascinating detail.

If that isn't enough, how about ending your first day with an al fresco meal eaten under the beautiful 500 year-old olive tree, as you catch up with your loved ones over a sumptuous bottle of local wine?

Inside, you'll sense the quality of your surroundings as soon as you cast your gaze over the solid wood furnishings and antique décor. The trullo's three stunningly preserved original cones are the setting for the generous living and dining area, featuring the original large open log burning fireplace situated next to huge glass patio doors. This room doubles as a third bedroom for larger groups.

Wander through to the traditional stone-built Puglian kitchen, where budding TV chefs will rejoice! Well-equipped, you'll find plenty of contemporary conveniences here, including a coffee machine and a dishwasher - and it almost goes without saying that with so much fresh produce to pick straight from the garden, from pungent oregano, rosemary and mint, to ripe figs, juicy apples and sweet almonds, meals will be indulgently savoured!

Meanwhile, two tastefully tiled bedrooms await as you stroll along the hallway, one featuring a lavish ensuite. Retire for an afternoon snooze after a dip in the pool, or simply enjoy an lazy lie-in as you gaze out across the garden from the comfort of your bed.

While it would be tempting to lie in all day, there's so much to see and do that you may even consider rising early on a few mornings! The trullo is surrounded by charming hilltop towns, including the famous ‘White City' of Ostuni, a celebrity favourite. The immaculate, white sand beaches are truly amazing and a must-visit on balmy days, found just 30 minutes away.

Of course, eating and drinking a true pleasures in this part of the world, and there are plenty of places to enjoy Puglian wine and delicious local produce. Enthusiasts can also visit the wine museum in historic Alberobello, watch pure olive oil being made, or take a tour of the local cheese factory.

However you decide to spend your time, you're sure to agree that Trullo of Dreams is aptly named...and this is one holiday dream you won't ever want to wake up from.
