Specific to Puglia, trulli are a collection of traditional dry-stoned huts with conical roofs. And enticingly true to form, you’ll discover Trulli Oleandro in Ceglie Messapica, one of Puglia’s oldest towns.  Dating all the way back to the 15th century BC, the rural surroundings appear barely touched by time.

Peppered with ancient olive trees, the grounds are home to a large, shimmering pool for lazy afternoon laps, and a beautiful Mediterranean patio to help you welcome the sunset with your favourite tipple… or even a sizzling barbecue supper!

Better still, up to twelve guests can stay in the trulli, which means nobody has to be left off the guest list. There are six comfortable bedrooms to choose from, along with all the holiday facilities you might expect: a well-equipped kitchen, a living area complete with a TV, and no less than five bathrooms.

When you’ve settled in, why not explore Ceglie Messapica’s narrow streets, with its enchanting caves and magical grottoes?

Known for its gastronomy, there’s plenty to tempt your tastebuds if you don’t feel like cooking… and if you time your visit for the popular September Thursday festival, there will be plenty of wine to sample, too!

The White City of Ostuni is also close by, with its whitewashed old town and magnificent Gothic cathedral, for a holiday that promises to be beautifully memorable.
