In the mood for a creative country escape, just you and your loved one? With its gently curved walls, cosy furnishings, and amazing first-floor views, you might find it hard to believe that you’re staying in a former grain store!

Set close to the historic Sussex village of Sedlescombe (in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, no less), The Corn Bin just couldn’t be more perfectly situated if you’re a lover of rural scenery.

You’ll find your accommodation has been cleverly designed for you to make the absolute most of those views, too, with a light and bright ‘upside down’ living space that’s situated on the first floor.

With squishy leather seating and four windows spaced all around, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to relax and immerse yourselves in your surroundings – though there’s also a wall-mounted TV if you get bored at any point!

The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with a microwave, electric oven and hob, along with lots of space for you to whip up your favourite culinary creations.

Discover your comfy kingsize bedroom on the ground floor, with plenty of furniture and storage space. There’s a refreshing bath and shower room next door, complete with toasty heated towel rail…and there’s even a dedicated laundry room, ideal if you plan to get up close and personal with the countryside in all weathers!

On sunny days, head out to the furnished, flower-bordered garden patio for a while, and cradle a drink as you watch this beautiful part of the world go by. A barbecue is provided for sizzling al fresco suppers, and there’s a private airfield just next door, so you might even get to spot the occasional light aircraft take off and land.

What the guests of The Corn Bin say

“The most unusual property we have ever stayed in and we loved it. We found the owner very friendly and willing to tell us about the farm and how it has developed over the years.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed staying in The Corn Bin. It has been perfect for us. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and it was great to see the planes and horses nearby. There are so many attractions nearby – including beaches at Camber Sands, Winchelsea Beach and Bexhill. We wished we had booked more days to really do East Sussex justice.”

“We loved staying here, the accommodation is great – spacious, very clean and very well equipped. The rural setting is lovely, but there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Pirate golf in Hastings, Bodiam Castle and Camber Sands. We will recommend the Corn Bin to all our friends and family.”
