A lovingly converted carthouse set high on a hill in rural Wales, complete with hot tub and spectacular views of Newport Bay.

Perfectly set in the Welsh village of Dinas, part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Y Cartws (literally "the carthouse" in Welsh), is a charming, two-bedroom cottage discovered at the end of a farm track.

Positioned high on a hill, you can enjoy stunning views of Newport Bay over morning coffee - the ideal antidote to the stresses of hectic city life!

Comfortably furnished throughout, this is the perfect base to get lost in these incredible natural surroundings. You'll enter into the bright, open-plan kitchen, complete with Shaker-style units, an electric oven, and handy additions including a microwave and dishwasher.

(You'll find a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room - perfect after a long day of rambling through sandy coves!)

Catch up around the dining table over a home-cooked meal, then head to the cosy lounge and unwind. Ideal for snuggly evenings in, you'll find a woodburning stove, a TV, books and games, and generous seating. No matter what the weather is like, you can still enjoy those amazing sea views from expansive floor-to-ceiling glass doors...oh, and there's even underfloor heating to keep those toes nice and warm.

When you've finished chatting the night away, choose from two comfy double bedrooms - one double-aspect room on the ground floor, and the second a slope-ceilinged room with bay views, accessed via wooden stairs. There's a family bathroom on the ground floor too, equipped with a bath and power-shower over.

During the day, while away some time in the furnished lawn area, where you can surround yourselves with gently rustling mature trees and Pembrokeshire hedges. Can you imagine a lovelier setting for an al-fresco breakfast?

But if you're in an indulgent mood, why not crack open the bubbles and head for the private hot tub and outdoor shower, sheltered at the side of the house for the very best views of blazing sunsets and emerging stars?

If you're in the mood to explore, there are plenty of options. Explore the coves and beaches at Cwm yr Eglwys, Pwllgwaelod, and Parrog, or take an invigorating stroll along the coastal path. The circular, rugged Dinas Head walk is ideal if you're a keen birdwatcher - bring your binoculars!

If you prefer a more peaceful rural setting, head for the nearby Preseli Hills, or enjoy a riding lesson from the stables at the end of the farm lane.

You could also take the car to bustling Newport for a spot of shopping and dining, or you'll find Fishguard, Cardigan, St Davids and Haverfordwest all within a half hour drive.

However you spend your time, you can indulge for as long as you like, safe in the knowledge that your cosy cottage will be waiting for you at the end of yet another wonderful day.
