A contemporary, custom-built beach house with soothing coastal views towards Southwold Pier.

The Watch Room is a unique beach house sleeping up to four people, peacefully secluded on a cliff top in a Suffolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Bespoke-designed to blend with its natural surroundings, your wildlife-strewn location is also steeped in history.  The Watch Room sits at the end of a private track once used by Royal Navy Wrens to listen out for German submarines, so tranquility is assured! (Well - except for the sound of the waves as they lap against the shoreline, and the skylarks soaring overhead).

Your generously-spaced accommodation is all ground-floor, with a light-flooded open plan living and dining area that faces huge windows.  In the unlikely event that you tire of those amazing views, there's a Freeview TV to keep you entertained.

Two cosy ensuite bedrooms ensure a sound night's sleep, while the decked terrace is the ideal spot for morning coffee.  By day, a 15-minute stroll takes you into the charming seaside town of Southwold - what better way to spend a day?

Together with its sister property The Listening Station, complete with its stunning views towards Covehithe, The Watch Room is perfect for a beachside holiday that's delightfully off the beaten tourist track.
