After a sound night’s sleep, enjoy an optional continental hamper delivered straight to your hut or suite, as you mull over what you’re going to do with your day.

The English Riviera is home to many beautiful towns and fishing ports, including Brixham and Dartmouth, famed for its narrow winding streets and stylish shops.  Dartmoor National Park, meanwhile, is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and accessible within half an hour.

Otherwise, why not simply unfurl your towel on one of Babbacombe’s beautiful beaches, all of which are sun-soaked and view-filled?  Energetic types can try out all kinds of watersports, while if you’re feeling particularly lazy, the historic Babbacombe Cliff funicular railway is on hand to take you from beach to village in the most scenic way possible.

Enjoy a meal at the hotel restaurant (where you might even bag the Captain’s Table if you’re lucky enough!), and then saunter back to your heavenly hut, just in time to catch that blazing orange sunset reflected in the sea.
