Full description
Take a historic castle set in 12 acres of grounds, an enviable position in the spectacular Trossachs and some of the most awe-inspiring interiors ever - and you have the truly unique Callander Castle!

Callander Castle is a lovingly (and most ingeniously!) restored castle, located just a 15-minute walk from Callander - ‘the gateway to the highlands'. Belonging to artist Stuart McAlpine Miller and his wife Nikki, this incredible home brings a traditional piece of Scotland right into the 21st century, with jaw-dropping interior design featuring the work of McAlpine Miller himself. And with space for up to 26 guests, there's no place better for that special celebration, that memorable occasion, or simply that long-overdue reunion.

Featuring every opulence and exquisite design at every turn, Callander Castle will elicit ‘oohs' and ‘aahs' from the moment you step through the door. Spread over four luxurious floors, there's something new to discover in every room, whether its Stuart's iconic artwork, Nikki's exquisite silks or rare limited edition prints - making this spectacular property an art lover's dream.

It's only when you wander from room to room that you grasp the sheer scale of this historic home, whether you're marvelling at the 100ft reception room or taking your pick from the 13 beautiful bedrooms. There's more than enough space to spread out and relax, giving you ample chances to soak up your splendid surroundings. Curl up in front of the fire in the library, take a turn on the digital baby grand piano in the morning room, or even enjoy your favourite film in the cinema turret!

Enjoy long, indulgent suppers below crystal chandeliers in the exquisite dining room, featuring dining chairs upholstered with artwork from McAlpine Miller's acclaimed ‘A Time for Reflection'. Pump some iron in the bespoke gym, complete with a running machine, spin bikes, free weights and even an aerial yoga swing! And get the party started in the games room, whether you're playing pool, unleashing your inner Keith Moon on the drum kit or enjoying a refreshment or two from the amazing whisky and gin honesty bar...

And then there are the bedrooms - a marvellous mix of four-poster rooms, family rooms, twin rooms, and even turret rooms. Six of these are found on the main floor, including the stunning Emperor Room, which features an indulgent Jacuzzi with underwater music and lights! You'll find three more bedrooms on the floor above, while eight more guests can enjoy the eclectic surroundings of the spectacular Basement Gallery.

The experience doesn't stop there. As well as this truly magnificent home to enjoy, your concierge is happy to arrange a veritable array of luxurious extras, each promising to make your stay at Callander Castle even more unforgettable! How about a private chef to conjure up delectable delights, or a spa visit from the local aesthetics team? Get your heartrate up with a private fitness session - ranging from boot camp to paddle boarding - or enjoy a true flavour of the highlands with a whisky tour and tasting.

And in this beautiful setting, you simply must get out and enjoy your surroundings, whether you're fishing for salmon and trout in the grounds, challenging each other in a clay pigeon shooting tournament or simply wandering the gardens with a view of Ben Ledi in the distance. There's more to explore beyond too; with The Trossachs and Loch Lomond at your feet, discover local beauty spots with Callander Castle's ghillie, stopping of course for a luxury picnic with butler service!

Whether it's the unbeatable location or the spellbinding accommodation, the indulgent extras or simply the chance to escape the world with all your favourite people, Callander Castle is undoubtedly an incredibly special place for an incredibly special stay.
