Good things come in small packages - nourish your mind, body and soul by strolling in life's slow lane for a while, on the beautiful Isle of Wight.
  • Sleeps: 4 per unit
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Newly-launched, supported by the Isle of Wight Rural Fund and featured in the Guardian’s anticipated ‘Twenty Places Opening in 2017′, Tiny Homes Holidays is the exciting new venture from the owners of Vintage Vacations and The Shacks.

It’s fair to say that this soothingly soul-enhancing venture is already well on track to become one of the Isle of Wight’s most memorable stays, leaving you feeling relaxed, revived and reborn amongst the clean air and amazing scenery the Isle of Wight is so well known for.

So what exactly is a Tiny Home when it’s at home, then?  Well, in essence a Tiny Home equals simpler living, downsizing on space in a creative, practical and efficient way that enables you to focus on wellness and sustainability.  In short, if you’re looking for a more ethical style of holiday with a reviving difference, then a Tiny Home Holiday is definitely for you!

Choose your Tiny Home from three deceptively spacious homes (with a further three planned for the future), set in a smallholding close to Parkhurst Forest, awash with walking trails, cycling routes and plenty of red squirrels!  You’ll also find The Studio on site…a heavenly wellness haven offering a programme of events dedicated to indulging your mind, body and soul, along with mandala gardens to work and luxuriate in.

Eco-friendly accommodation is the order of the day with Tiny Homes Holidays, with solar power, composting toilets, woodburning stoves and recycling measures all in place within the smallholding.

The three Tiny Homes each sleep up to four guests and are individually named to reflect their unique living spaces.  Eilidh is the Gaelic word for ‘light’, and inside you’ll find plenty of it, with clean lines and natural textures.  Silva, Latin for ‘forest’, evokes the woodland with fresh, natural textures and colours to remind you of the outdoors, indoors.  Hygge, of course, is the well-known Danish word that relates to warmth and wellbeing, and inside you’ll find plenty of places to snuggle!

The homes’ architecture really has to be experienced to be fully appreciated – professionally designed and crafted by a renowned architect, they are deceptively spacious, with a luxurious, high-spec finish.  Each equipped with at least one king size bed, plus either another double or two singles (or four separate single beds if required), the homes also include a well-furnished kitchen, a refreshing shower and composting toilet, a woodburning stove and plenty of crisp white linen and towels.
