  • Sleeps: 2
  • Bedroom: 1
  • Bathroom: 1
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights

Surrounded by enchanting forestland that’s teeming with wildlife, Spiers Lodge is nestled in the grounds of the expansive Culdees Castle Estate, for a memorable and authentic Scottish break that’s also packed with artisan luxury.

The eco-friendly cabin for two has been beautifully designed to blend with these magnificent natural surroundings, and you’ll find every care has been taken to protect and preserve them. Low energy lighting, natural spring water, and a wood-burning hot tub mean you can keep your carbon footprint refreshingly light.

Access the cosy, cocoon-like cabin through spellbinding pathways that lead you through whispering trees. You’ll be greeted by an instantly relaxing, home-like haven that’s been lovingly furnished and decorated using the talents of local artists and craft suppliers.

The open plan design features gently curved ceilings and soft, natural colours, and floods of daylight from huge windows… along with squishy seating and fluffy blankets to keep you feeling nice and snug.

There’s a well-equipped kitchenette to help you whip up Scottish country feasts, and a shower room that’s complete with a toasty heated towel rail. Oh, and you’ll curl up in a comfy kingsize bed that faces a window, for the very best morning views!

Wander outside to discover your very own firepit area, with a picnic table and seating areas for al fresco feasts with forest views. There’s a bench swing to enjoy too… and, of course, the aforementioned hot tub, which is nicely covered, so you can enjoy a warm, fairy-lit soak even when it’s raining.

With a well-stocked on-site shop on hand, and a wide selection of hampers and treats to order for your stay, there’s no need for you to leave at all if you don’t want to.
