Wild in Style
Lake District glamping at beautiful Windermere or Coniston in a choice of yurts, domes and gypsy wagons.
Wild in Style offer a fabulous range of glamping options, across two lovely Lake District sites. Whichever you choose, you'll have an adventure in one of the most glorious areas on the planet.
In Windermere, Wild in Style has a choice of yurts, vardo wagons and a Berber tent, set in mature oak woodland just a couple of minutes walk from the shores of Lake Windermere. From the lake beach, you can swim, fish and canoe - the perfect Swallows and Amazons existence! The impressive Wray Castle is just a short walk away.
There is a choice of yurts, each with lots of space and home comforts, including proper beds, full kitchens and dining tables. They sleep up to 6, with several of them having separate bedrooms. Outside, each one has a firepit with seats: perfect for long evenings telling campfire tales under the stars.
The vardo wagons are modernised gypsy wagons. They have double beds, comfy seating and a woodburner to keep things cosy. Outside, each has its own cottage tent, where you'll find the kitchen and extra living space.
The Berber tent is based on the traditional dwellings of the ancient Berber tribe of Morocco. It is spacious and comfortable, with big windows for great views, a kitchen and a woodburner.
Sitting high on a hill close to Lake Coniston, this site has a choice of yurts and domes to stay in. The views over the lake and the fells are fantastic, and the lake shore is just five minutes walk away.
Coniston's yurts are equipped in the same way as those at Windemere, with lots of space, woodburners for warmth and firepits. The GeoDome and the RomaDome are similar to the yurts, with the same facilities, but with a slightly different structure and a more modern feel.
Wild in Style offer an easy way to explore the Lake District and all its charms. They've done everything they can to provide everything you need, with well thought-out-spaces with plenty of style as well as practicality. You'll have a great base to enjoy walking the Lakes' many trails, or perhaps trying mountain biking or rock climbing. On the lakes themselves, hire boats, or just go for a paddle. Everywhere you go in the Lake District you'll find attractive villages, wide open spaces and of course, some of the best views in England.
