Welcome to Ufogel - a truly unique retreat, in the form of an ethereal living sculpture that ‘floats' serenely over the Austrian landscape.

‘Ufogel' is a combination of UFO and Vogel, which is German for bird.  

The reason for the unique name is simple: Ufogel combines a larchwood-crafted, UFO-like exterior with a bird's effortless grace, seemingly floating over the rolling Nussdorf landscape.

Enter via a bridge-like path, and then prepare to be astounded by the pure, stripped-back interiors, and the magnificent Lienz Dolomites range showcased by the huge, expertly-positioned panoramic window that brings the outside, inside.

A gorgeous combination of light and space, Ufogel is ideal for family breaks, sleeping up to two adults and three children.  A mere five-minute walk will lead you to a tennis court, sauna, and the local shops and restaurants, so you won't have to worry about long road trips to stock up on essentials.

Return to your out-of-this-world haven at the end of a long day, and simply fire up the wood-burner for a wondrous feeling of being at peace with the world.
