Private, hand-crafted luxury treehouse set amongst remote Welsh countryside...stargazing and hot tub included.

Lovingly hand-crafted by friendly owners John and Laura, you'll experience a warm Welsh welcome from the moment you arrive at Trawscwm Treehouse (Trawscwm means ‘cross valley' in native Welsh).

As if that wasn't enough, you'll also experience more relaxed luxury than you could shake a leafy branch at. After all, how many treehouses come complete with cosy hammock, a tree-wrapped viewing deck with hot tub, a glowing chimenea to warm your evenings, and even the opportunity to book a visiting masseuse?

Cleverly constructed on stilts, Trawscwm Treehouse stands proudly in a private area of Powys countryside, designated a Site Of Specific Scientific Interest. Peace and tranquility are orders of the day here, so if you're looking for a blissful escape from all the noise and stress of everyday life...well, let's just say you've found it.

Style and comfort combine inside, with a spacious open-plan area that floods with natural light by day. Vibrant pops of colour surround creative woodwork and high-end additions that include an opulent bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and expansive glass doors.

Later on, take the bridge across to your chimenea and al fresco seating to gaze at the stars (that is, when you're not doing exactly that from your hot tub), then drift off to sleep in a ridiculously cosy kingsize bed. Set next to large windows, you can greet the morning sunrise without having to get up!

If you're bringing smaller extra guests, there are two single mattresses on the mezzanine level that are perfect for older children (6 years +).

With the Welsh countryside temptingly spread out like a lush green carpet before you, it's time to explore. Perhaps start by packing a picnic and taking a stroll to find the perfect spot (we recommend the top of the hill), or perhaps meeting the local sheep - John and Laura offer tours during lambing season.  There's plenty of wildlife to meet along your way, with the local Red Kites and cuckoos making their presence known!

The Elan Valley (around a 30 minute drive away) is wonderful territory for cycling and hiking along invigorating woodland trails - bring sturdy boots - with the nearest pub four miles away, and the nearest shops six miles. This really is a wonderfully remote location you can truly savour.

And of course, with all that energy exerted, you can look forward to a pampering massage waiting for you when you get back. While tea, coffee, cake and wine are provided for your arrival, you can also arrange a luxury food hamper and extra romantic touches that include flowers, banners and artificial rose petals strewn over the bed...perfect for honeymooners, or simply just because you're in a romantic mood!

So if you've decided it's finally time to unplug that laptop and switch off that phone for a while, you could be in no finer place to indulge in all the delights that nature has to offer...and much, much more besides.
